I've been trying for awhile now with all the dyes and can't seem to get this color, or even close. Can anyone tell me the combo or what i may be.]

Id say white dye, and maybe add in silver..
Goto wiki.guildwars.com>norn armor> female warrior> gallery.
There you got a full dye preview

Perhaps it's gray with two, maybe three white dyes?

I'm getting closer, white + grey or silver just looks way off.

it looks like...white! and you may want to take into account that the screenie is taken in the brght light which may be affecting the color hue.

I would have guessed a White and Yellow combination. I remember before White Dye was available many armor sets had a 'fake' white dye option of using 3 Silver and 1 Yellow.

And, don't forget, the color in the picture may not look exactly like the actual in-game color due to various things such as the lighting, file compression, inaccurate compression filters, etc., etc. The brightness of some parts of the image would indicate that the warrior was "highlighted" (the glow that happens when you cursor over someone) when the screenshot was taken - which would also change the apparent hue.

You may be chasing a color that doesn't exist in-game.

something else to keep in mind as well.. not every persons monitor has the exact same brightness/contrast/hue/saturation settings so it might look different on another monitor.

The other thing is there was a time when you could mix dyes differently than you do now, and it allowed you to get a much wider array of shades and hues and such... you cant do it like that anymore so its possible that you might not be able to get that color anymore depending on when that screenshot was done.

Unfortunate but it happens.

Since it's norn armor, the new dye system was already in place. There's a very high probability that the color was obtained with the new system. As said previously, the lighting probably has a noticeable effect on the screenshot

That??s what I think. It can very easily be a simple white one with a yellowish strong light.

The "bloom" postprocessing effect in much of the game adds a yellow hue in general, which is very visible on white sources. The degree and type of bloom depends on what zone you're in though, as well as it's interaction with the local lighting. If you really want to match, try to figure out where that screenshot is exactly, and take your character there while fooling around with dyes.
